If client/vendor traffic is sent to MCCMNCs for which there are no rates in the corresponding client/vendor product, such traffic can be billed by creating a default rate, which can also be called Rest of the World rate.
You can choose any value as MCC Rest of the world editing the MCC "Rest of the world" system parameter, by default this parameter is set as 777:
In other words, if the price for the traffic's full MCCMNC or its MCC cannot be found in the client/vendor product, a rate for the "fake" MCC 777 will be used (if it is present in the product), for which you can set your own price by adding it to the corresponding product.
An example of the default rate in the product, any traffic going to destinations that are not explicitly listed in the product will be billed at this rate:
The MCC "Rest of the world" parameter is applicable throughout the System, including Alaris Campaign Portal and MO messages. When the user modifies the System parameter MCC "Rest of the world", a new MCC is added to the e.212/e.164 reference book if no active MCC with this value was available.
If you encounter any difficulties, you can contact Alaris Support team by creating a HelpDesk ticket, providing a description of the situation (current System behavior and desired one), product ID and a Simulation TASK ID for further analysis.
