NO ROUTES means that the system cannot send a message because it has not found at least one suitable vendor. To determine the reason for the NO ROUTES message status, you must find a code that indicates the reason for this status.
The code can be found in the following ways:
Using the Start/SMS/EDR management/EDR export tool interface. You need to make sure that the Status code column is on the right side of the column selection window:
Using the EDR Export (SMS) report in the Start/Reports interface. This report contains the SMS Status code column, which contains the code we need.
Once you have found the code, refer to this article to see a description of the code.
Another way to check why the message got NO ROUTES status is to run a simulation task Start/SMS/Routing/Simulation using the same SID (A number), DNIS (B number), Message text and Client product as in the message.
When the task is finished, open the log (click on view log) and find the line with the expected vendor product ID (using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F) by typing prod ID in the search window, where ID is the expected vendor product ID.
If the expected vendor product is not found among the final vendor products, check if it is present in the list above (when POI is searched and billing mode is checked). To find a vendor product in this list, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F and type Vendor product ID in the searching window.
If the expected vendor product is in the list Final list, then you need to check the routing rule's filters and find out the reason:
The required routing rule will be indicated by the word selected at the end of the line:
You can find some examples of simulation logs that contain the No routes found entry here.
If you cannot find the reason for the NO ROUTES status, please provide Alaris support team with the EDR export task, message_id, simulation task ID and the time the message was sent.
