TPS per channel and number of connections

The TPS capacity applies to the channel in whole. That is, it is distributed randomly among all connections so that in general the distribution is almost equal between them (the more traffic, the more equally it is distributed).

If a channel has multiple connections, when setting the TPS for that channel, the TPS should be set for the channel, not for each connection. Therefore, for example, if you wish to allow 30 TPS for the partner's channel, you can set the corresponding Vendor capacity (sms/sec) or Client capacity (sms/sec) parameter in the Channels interface as 30 irrespectively of the number of connections.

If you encounter any difficulties, you can contact Alaris Support team by creating a HelpDesk ticket, providing a description of the situation (current system behavior and desired one) as well as the corresponding Channel ID.
