SRC POI NOT FOUND

SRC POI NOT FOUND status means that no suitable SMS POI was found for a client submit_sm packet, as the submit’s service type differs from the POI’s one. Attempts with such a status are available in SMS/Analytics interface under the Undefined category, since a client cannot be defined due to incorrect service type.

The main goal of troubleshooting is to make the configured and sent values of Service Type coincide. There are several ways to gain it: you can either explicitly ask the client to use the correct Service Type specified in the SMS POI configuration, or adjust it for the corresponding channels inserting the Service Type that the partner sends (it can be ascertained via a corresponding trace file or in the EDR (the Client service type field)). Here is an example of how to find the Service Type value in traces:

Kindly note that the Service type is case-sensitive, so it is necessary to specify the exact value. However, it is possible to receive submits with any value in the serviceType field. To configure it, please insert * (asterisk) symbol in the corresponding field, but note that only one SMS POI with this value can be created per SMS channel. For example:

In case there are any questions left, please open a ticket providing Alaris support team with the problematic SMS Channel ID and a corresponding trace file or an output of EDR Export where we can find an example of the data that your client sends.
